AGREEMENT FOR RELEASE OF LIABILITY

This agreement has been made between(required)
an individual member of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. and Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. (also referred to as “The Organization” and GAO) to release the Organization of any and all liability, both actual and potential, for any and all occurrences during the event hereby known as 2010 Annual National Convention held September 30th, 2010 through October 3rd, 2010 (all dates inclusive) in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas.(required)
Attendance and/or participation in any and all activities organized and sponsored by Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., including but not limited to parties, dinners, meetings, and workshops, is voluntary and the undersigned member releases Gamma Alpha Omega, Sorority, Inc., its agents, subsidiaries, heirs, and assigns, and any other individual acting on behalf of The Organization from any and all liability.(required)
Members that do not attend sanctioned events, including but not limited to parties, dinners, meetings, and workshops are responsible for their own liability and hereby release Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., its agents, subsidiaries, heirs, and assigns, and any other individual acting on behalf of The Organization are held completely free of any and all liability.(required)
Hosting chapter is not liable for undelivered, lost, or misplaced checks. The parties undersigned warrant, represent, and agree that (a) they have the right, power, and authority to enter into this agreement as set forth and (b) they have been advised of their right to consult independent legal counsel and have done so to their satisfaction.(required)
The laws of the State of Oregon will govern this Agreement of Release from Liability, and both parties agree to be bound to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Oregon. All terms made prior to the signing of this agreement are hereby merged and contained in this final agreement.(required)
